Appropriate assimilation of the knowledge, skills and attitudes
common to all primary contact practitioners in the orthodox health care
team ensures a shared foundation upon which diverse professions can
build. At Phillip Institute of Technology, the Department of Diagnostic
Sciences is intimately involved in preparing undergraduate chiropractic
students for their future roles as primary contact practitioner members
of the orthodox health care team. The Department addresses this
responsibility by ensuring that students are exposed to current health
concepts in an educationally sound milieu.
