Therapy ANDRIES M. KLEYNHANS and ALLAN G.J. TERRETT A review of the definition, etiology, differential diagnosis, assessment and management of tennis elbow is presented. "Tennis elbow" is depicted as a "waste basket" term, and two major types are discussed: intra-articular and extra-articular. The differential diagnosis, salient features and management of each type is discussed for the acute, subacute and chronic phases. Therapy includes adjustment, manipulation, and associated therapies and procedures. TERRETT The clinical anatomy of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve is reviewed, and a number of previously recorded cases of the compression neuropathy known as meralgia paresthetica are considered. A heretofore unreported case is suggested, and a case of iatrogenic complication from chiropractic therapy is described to support this view.
