ANDRIES M. KLEYNHANS and ALLAN G.J. TERRETT

A review of the definition, etiology, differential diagnosis, assessment and management of tennis elbow is presented. "Tennis elbow" is depicted as a "waste basket" term, and two major types are discussed: intra-articular and extra-articular. The differential diagnosis, salient features and management of each type is discussed for the acute, subacute and chronic phases. Therapy includes adjustment, manipulation, and associated therapies and procedures.
